Terms of Service

By using the Slowmad application or the website at slowmad.club, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.

Slowmad opens on an invitation from somebody already inside. You sign in with Apple or with Google, and you are responsible for what happens under your account.

You may delete your account at any time from inside the app (Profile → Account → Delete account), or by writing to the support address. Deleting it removes your profile, your plans, your invitations, and your posts, photos and reactions on walls.

Use Slowmad lawfully. Do not interfere with the service or the infrastructure it runs on, do not attempt to extract its source, and do not pretend to be somebody you are not.

Your plans, notes, posts and photos remain yours. By posting them you allow us to store and display them — a profile wall to every signed-in user, a plan's wall to whoever can read that plan, a plan to the friends you chose — which is what makes the app work. You are responsible for having the right to post what you post: do not upload photos of other people or other people's work that you may not share.

A GIF comes from Giphy and stays Giphy's and its authors'. Picking one is subject to Giphy's own terms. We may remove a GIF or a photo at any time.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour on Slowmad. Do not post anything hateful, threatening, harassing or sexually explicit, and do not abuse other people using it.

Every person in the app carries a Report control and a Block, at the foot of their own screen. Reporting reaches us and takes a note saying which trip and what is wrong; blocking is yours alone — you stop seeing each other, and the friendship ends.

We read reports every day and act within 24 hours — removing the content, and ending the account behind it where that is the right answer. You can also write to the support address.

The Slowmad name, mark and application are ours. The service and everything in it other than what you wrote remain our property.

You may stop using Slowmad at any time and ask for your account to be removed. We may suspend or end access for a breach of these terms.

Slowmad is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of defects, and plans shown in it are what people typed — not a guarantee that anybody will be anywhere.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Slowmad. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and continuing to use Slowmad after a change means you accept it.
