Where your friends are — and where they'll be
Friends scattered across the globe? Put everyone's plans on one map and see when and where you can meet — before the trip, not afterwards in a story.
Approximate dates. Exact crossings.
An ordinary calendar demands dates you don't have, which is why it stays empty. Here you can say it the way you actually think about the trip — and Slowmad still finds where you overlap.
- all of October
- ≈ Nov 5
- about 3 weeks
- until Oct 20
A year of friends on one ruler
Six months back and six ahead: where everybody was, where they will be, and where your paths cross. Spaces are the companies of friends from different group chats; tap one and the board narrows to it.

Talk about the trip. Find where you meet.
Slowmad turns the plans you choose to share into a map of your friends’ travels. Approximate dates are enough to spot a chance to meet.
A friend space keeps a group’s shared plans together. It does not turn everyone in the chat into permanent friends, and private trips stay private.
The space owner links your Telegram group and must be a group admin. Make the bot an admin too so it can receive the next voice message. Each person signs in with their own account.
-
Discuss it together
Talk in your usual Telegram group. When your own plan takes shape, address the bot instead of asking someone to keep another spreadsheet.
-
Tag the bot
Write @slowmad_bot followed by your plan. For voice, send just @slowmad_bot, then your own voice message within two minutes in the same chat or topic.
-
Review, then confirm
Read the card: places, dates, additions and changes. If a detail is missing or wrong, open the draft in the app and edit it. You choose what to confirm.
-
See the same plan in the app
Confirmed changes sync to Slowmad. Friends and current space members see shared trips; private plans remain yours. Open the map to find where your dates overlap.
Requests you can try
Try these as addressed text or voice after a bare mention. New destinations become drafts; a matching own plan is an update. Yearless months mean the nearest future occurrence. Wishes such as “Japan someday” are not trips.
- @slowmad_bot “Istanbul from Oct 15 for about three weeks, then Lisbon all of November.”
- For destinations you have not saved yet: two proposed trips, Istanbul with approximate dates and Lisbon for the whole month. Review both before saving.
- @slowmad_bot “Porto from the 3rd to the 12th of next month.”
- A proposed trip with both dates stated exactly.
- @slowmad_bot “Bangkok from the 20th.”
- A start date with no end date invented.
- @slowmad_bot “I’m in Bangkok until the 12th.”
- An end date for a stay already under way; no start date invented.
- @slowmad_bot “Make Istanbul the 17th, Lisbon is off, and add Tbilisi in December”
- With Istanbul and Lisbon already in your own plans: move the Istanbul date, cancel Lisbon and propose a new Tbilisi trip. Review each change before confirming.
Only the author can confirm changes to their own plans. The bot cannot change someone else’s trip, and nothing is saved before confirmation.

Say it, and it's a plan
Hold the microphone and say it the way you'd tell a friend: “Istanbul on the fifteenth for about three weeks.” Plans change, so say that too. You see exactly what would change, switch off anything you didn't mean, and confirm.
Prefer iPhone? The native app has voice editing too.

Frequently asked
- What is Slowmad?
- A shared map of travel plans for a circle of friends: who is where now, who is heading where, and where your routes will cross.
- Do I need exact dates?
- No. “All of October” or “about three weeks from mid-November” is enough to find the crossings.
- Who can see my plans?
- Shared plans are visible to the friends you added and current members of your friend spaces. Any trip can be made private. An active share link opens that one plan to whoever holds it, even a private one; shared pages ask search engines not to index them.
- Does Slowmad track my location?
- No. The app never asks for location access and cannot read it. The map shows only what you chose to tell.
- Is there an Android version?
- There is no native Android app yet. You can open Slowmad in a browser or inside Telegram, without installing the iPhone app.
